So what are the main job roles at Portako?

Account management:
Our account managers are experts in print and design technologies, and sit at the heart of our operations – managing both projects and our relationships with clients and suppliers.  

As an account manager, you will have an intimate knowledge of the benefits and challenges of thousands of different printing processes, promotional products and related services such as mailing and design. You will also develop a deep understanding of your clients’ businesses – and will know how the right choice of printing process, supplier and specification will benefit your client.

Graphic design:
Our team of experienced graphic designers support our clients with a wide range of cutting edge creative work, in both print and online media.

We are particularly good at creating annual reports, exhibition sales brochures and customer newsletters, as well as developing new brand identities.

Our ethos is that no design job is too small. We try never to say 'no' to any client request – regardless of the medium. That means one thing is for certain: if you join our design team, you will be never be short of a huge variety of challenging creative briefs… 

Business development:
Our business development team operate at the ‘front end’ of our business, responding to inquiries from companies, visiting them to assess their print requirements and advising them on the best solutions.  

Then, once the job is placed, they ensure the client's nominated account manager is briefed in depth about the client’s requirements and understands fully all the relevant background details about the client’s organisation and their business objectives.

Each business development manager stays in touch with their clients throughout the production of each job, while also regularly checking in with the relevant account manager regularly to ensure the smooth running of each project and deal with any problem arising.
